Dear Investor:
In response to significant inflows and certain future expected inflows, AIG Investments is limiting the flow of new subscriptions into the AIG Japan Small Companies Fund. The limitation of new subscriptions is an effort to protect the interests of existing unitholders, and preserve the integrity of AIG Investments’ portfolio management process.
Effective at the close of business on Friday, 18 February 2005, the AIG Japan Small Companies Fund, classes A3, Y and Y3, (the "Fund") closed to new investors and additional investments from existing investors. Please keep in mind that if you sell all Fund units that you own, your account will be closed and you will not be permitted to buy additional Fund units or reopen your account as long as the Fund remains closed.
AIG Investments will continue to monitor capacity levels for Japan small company investments and may modify this policy at any time.
AIG Investments' Japan Small Companies Strategy has been successful in finding small companies for investment. The same investment process and quality management is also available through the AIG Japan Smaller Companies Plus Fund* and for those interested in the Asian small cap markets, the AIG Southeast Asia Small Companies Fund* is available.
I would like to continue to the AIG Japan Small Companies Fund
