Mr. Cortese joined AIG Investments in 2007. As Managing Director and Head of Investment Services for AIG Investments, he is responsible for worldwide investment operations, performance measurement, and information technology functions. Before joining AIG Investments, he spent over 25 years with Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase where he served as Managing Director of Operations and Technology.  Two years prior to joining AIG Investments, Mr. Cortese was a Senior Technology Adviser to the Department of Homeland Security and The American Red Cross in Washington, DC. Mr. Cortese received a BS in Accounting/Economics from Wagner College and he is a member of Wagner College’s Board of Trustees.
